What we solve

Regulatory exposure you cannot ignore

A return with a deadline and a penalty behind it, and a process that was never designed to produce it.

How it usually shows up

The obligation is clear enough. The evidence behind it is not. Quantitative return templates get populated from calculation-heavy spreadsheets that live on individual machines, actuarial and accounting teams work to different cut-offs, and the reconciliation happens in the last week before submission.

Nobody is careless. The process simply grew faster than the controls around it, and every cycle is completed by people working late rather than by a system.

What the regulator actually asks

Not whether you meant to comply. It asks for the record, on the date it was made, and for the control that says who reviewed it. That is where most reporting programmes are thin: the numbers can be produced, but the trail behind them cannot.

How we approach it

Map the obligation, not the software

Every return you are required to file, the date it is due, and the record each line depends on. One page per obligation, written so someone outside the team can follow it.

Build the control framework

Collection, population, reconciliation and signoff coordinated by a system, with the rules written down rather than remembered.

Prove it, cycle after cycle

Tested against your last four submissions before we hand it over, so the first live cycle is not the first real test.

The regulator does not ask whether you meant to comply. It asks for the record, on the date it was made.
Case study

Case study 1

Case study 1 · Large listed insurer · Regulatory reporting

Broken

Two people coordinating dozens of calculation-heavy spreadsheets to populate quarterly and annual quantitative return templates, under severe time pressure, with no control framework.

At stake

Adverse audit findings, regulatory fines and scrutiny.

What we did

Built an automated control framework to coordinate, collect and manage the population process across actuarial and accounting teams.

What changed
One process

One system for population, reconciliation and full signoff. The whole regulatory return process simplified, with transparency and confidence in the numbers.

Sector and scale only. We do not name clients, and every number here is one the client confirmed.
